My Story

I am a mum to twin teenage boys who I had when I turned 40, thanks to my determination and relentless pursuit of answers in uncovering the immunological causes behind early pregnancy losses and three years of unexplained infertility. They would simply not be here without my own research and are my proudest life achievement!

Before having my boys, I suffered from several complex, mysterious and persistent health issues which were all resolved with the help of nutritional therapy and dietary changes, igniting a passion to study the subject. However, a challenging twin pregnancy put those plans on hold. From birth, one of my twins suffered with severe reflux, constipation and eczema, which was relieved only temporarily by conventional medicine. At age two, after exhausting all other options, I turned to nutritional therapy and within days of making some dietary changes, he became more comfortable and was able to sleep through the night finally. The transformation was incredible and I wished I had made those changes sooner to spare us both months of suffering.

Like many nutritional therapists, these life-changing experiences revealed to me the critical role our gut and microbiome play in overall health and the importance of taking ownership of one's health. When my boys became more independent, I retrained in nutritional therapy at the University of Worcester, qualifying as a nutritional therapist in the hope of helping others. I’m passionate about empowering clients to unlock their potential for lasting well-being by making health promoting diet and lifestyle choices.

Why work with me?

Rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach, I consider each individual to be unique and after a thorough health history and dietary/lifestyle analysis, I incorporate the latest science from genetic, epigenetic, diet and nutrition research to inform individualised evidence-based nutrition, supplement and lifestyle recommendationsI have access to a range of in-depth functional lab and genetic tests which can assess nutritional imbalances and inform personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations to support wellbeing. I use a multi-system approach looking at the person as a whole and work collaboratively with each client to reach their health goals through practical and realistic steps.  â€‹
